A Word About ‘Gluten-Reduced’ and ‘Gluten-Free’
All of our beers are brewed with barley. All of our beers, with the exception of the Hazy beers, are crafted to remove gluten. We use an enzyme to break down gluten proteins. Gluten tests must show less than 20ppm for beer to be considered gluten-reduced. Our tests show less than 20ppm. Thus, our beers are considered gluten-reduced. Some gluten-sensitive consumers may have reactions. If it falls below 20ppm in the EU, beers can be considered and labeled as “gluten-free”. However, in the U.S., if you use anything with gluten at any point in the process, it cannot be labeled as gluten-free.
One last note – our Hard Seltzers and Skagua™ are gluten-free.
